The Hong Kong Racing Museum And A Ride On A Sampan

You know, I didn't set out to visit the Hong Kong Racing Museum.

No, I set out today with every intention of just hopping on to a streetcar on Hennessy Road and riding it until it reached its destination.

That destination turned out to be Happy Valley.

I hopped off at the end of the line and started walking.

The Hong Kong Racing Museum was open for business very early today and here are some photos from that visit as well as from the following sampan ride.

Filipino breakfast again...

There's no escaping the Christmas Tree racket, is there?

I hitched another bus to ride out to Aberdeen and I ended up riding a sampan!

The owners' of the boat owned this cat that was as vocal and annoying as any watchdog...

I call this shot the Bruce Lee P.O.V. shot. And if you don't get that reference, you shouldn't be reading my blog. You'll be dispatched to Han's Island momentarily.

The Jumbo Floating Restaurant. I still want/need/must eat there...

I didn't notice when I was shooting a pic of this poster for the new Sandra Ng flick on DVD that I also snagged Nick Cheung on the bus behind it...

The good times can't last forever, even in Hong Kong. Get your kicks now, folks...

There is no better feeling than coming back to your hotel room and finding Karen Mok on MTV Asia...
