Following a late dinner at Red Chili Thai restaurant in Causeway Bay, we caught a midnight screening of X-Men: First Class (2011) which was decent. There's a nice sense of momentum to this prequel. Despite a few cultural anachronisms, and a few performances that felt more 21st century in tone than 1962, the film moved at a decent clip and the psychological battle between Magneto and Charles Xavier was well handled.
Theaters here are kept so cold that there is now a booming blanket rental business in some of them...
There's a lot of advertising up for this other superhero epic, due next week. I am a bit excited about this too...
