New Track From Nottingham's Childhood

I saw a blurb about this band in the NME a few weeks ago and it was work finding their online presence; you try Googling Childhood!

Anyway, the NME called them "the new Felt" which isn't quite fair. Childhood are trippier than Felt ever were and I'd say they are closer to A.R. Kane or that Long Fin Killie spin-off Bows.

The guitar work here is nice. And the cut is direct enough in its emotional punch to not drift off into shoegazer territory.

Think Blur's "Strange News From Another Star" mixed with the end of Dog Man Star without the bombast.

Enjoy "Just Floating" from Childhood below.
