Merry Christmas From D.C.

In case you didn't know it, I'm back in the Maryland/D.C./NoVa hood for Christmas.

It's been a good visit so far. I've been happy to see my friends and family again. I've been to 2 great concerts so far. And I had one fantastic meal at my favorite D.C. area restaurant.

Here are some pictures from my meal at Mandalay in Silver Spring.

So now today's Christmas -- Merry Christmas everyone! -- and I'm going to see more friends and more "family" again.

It should be a day full of great food and good conversation.

Then in a week, I go back "home" to Hong Kong. Of course, I'm no closer to figuring out the future than I was when I left last week.

I have no clue how long I can stay, or want to stay, in Hong Kong.

But, until I figure out what path I want to take, I'll be in Hong Kong.

I'm not going to get all wistful (again) on this blog. Still, I will say that there are a lot of reasons I need to stay in Hong Kong in the near future and those "reasons" are things I don't want to discuss here, or write about yet.

I needed this visit. I am nearly ready to go back to HK and I feel a lot more confident that I can make it there for as long as I need, or want, to.

Let's see what the future holds.
