I like to imagine that drummer Danny Ingram had a flashback to his time in Strange Boutique or Swervedriver and forced the other fellas in Dot Dash to do this postpunk stomper.
More "Spellbound" by Siouxsie and the Banshees than any Tommy Keene-inspired fuzzy powerpop, "A Light in the Distance" is proof that the lads have some Red Lorry Yellow Lorry records next to the Records...records in their collections.
One of the highlights from their recent Half-Remembered Dream, the lads in Dot Dash are playing a slew of gigs in the near future with new guitarist: Jim Spellman of Velocity Girl and Julie Ocean.
