This is a pleasant surprise! London four-piece Dazes are giving away their new "Neon Lover" single for free up until Valentine's Day. The single is a sleek and expertly produced piece of indie rock held together around Hannie's vocals. Drummer Amy, bassist Brandon, and drummer Mat provide a vaguely sinister, percolating swirl of tunefulness around the singer. With a hint of Florence and the Machine, and a nod in the direction of late era Siouxsie and the Banshees, this new cut from Dazes is a winner.
