Following on from their first two singles, including the excellent "Two Times Emptiness", Laurel Canyon is back to show us how they really rock! This one, inspired in equal parts by Iggy and the Stooges and Richard Hell, it sounds like, is just as fantastic.
Serg Cereja and Nick Gillespie (The Yetis) really let loose on this selection, revealing that they're capable of mining Seventies post-punk as much as Nineties indie. Less Libertines and more Lou, "Daddy's Honey" is infectious and just the right kind of dangerous. Given the variety we've heard on the trio of singles from Laurel Canyon so far, I can't wait to hear a full-length record.
"Daddy's Honey" is out now via the link below.
