VIDEO OF THE WEEK: "Click It And Pay" By Swansea Sound

This is the year of Swansea Sound and it's not even over yet.

First, we have a new video for "Click It and Pay", from the band's latest album, Twentieth Century. The video was made without the involvement of the band by students of New Trier High School in New Trier, Illinois. Produced by teacher James Syrek, directed by Henry Elvin, and featuring a number students from New Trier High School, this is one of the most clever video offerings of 2023 from any band. That it's for a song from a group riding so high in creative terms right now only makes it better.

Second, the band is serving up a Christmas EP. As it is the season, it's time to pre-order "Santa Bail Me Out" by Swansea Sound now. Details below via the Bandcamp link, as well as details on the listening party on December 9.

Finally, Heavenly, the seminal indie band featuring Amelia and Rob from Swansea Sound, are playing two dates in the United States in 2024. These are their first in a quarter-century, and while the June 1, 2024 date in New York City sold out already, there are tickets left for the second night, May 31, 2024. Details at Market Hotel.

Twentieth Century by Swansea Sound is out now via Skep Wax.
