As they get set to tour America on the back of their most excellent recent album, Swansea Sound are offering up a really cool record. I'm happy to share some details below.
"Skep Wax made 100 black lathe-cut 7' singles of "Markin' It Down" by Swansea Sound. They have all been pre-sold, apart from a few that will be exclusively available at Tangled Parrot and Rough Trade West on Record Store Day.
But they are going to auction this special one: the only white copy. Proceeds from the sale will go to the support fund for striking Amazon workers in Coventry. The Auction ends on 20th April.
(If you don't want a lathe-cut 7" single you can still donate to the fund, using the link below. It includes a really good video, where the Amazon employees explain their situation.)"
So take it from the band, and bid on the record here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166706112851?
And support the striking workers here: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/gmb-are-standing-with-amazon-workers.
