What a delightful surprise this is!
Recorded by the late, legendary Steve Albini, "Coast" by Kim Deal is a lilting hit, and the perfect thing for a hot and lazy summer's day. Featuring Lindsay Glover and Breeders member Mando Lopez as the rhythm section here, the cut finds Kim's sister Kelley Deal on guitar, and the Chicago marching band Mucca Pazza supplying horns. The combined fruits of the efforts of these players is a spry bit of business.
"To beautiful kids on the coast!" goes the refrain and we can only agree here.
