Even though I've been covering music here since day one, it's only been since 2014 that we've been doing Top Albums of the Year lists on this site. The lists have gotten shorter over time, which is probably a good thing given how long the lists are on other sites. So, in a year stuffed with so much great music that I had a hard time whittling down my list to just 10 -- Slumberland Records had such a great year in 2024, that the list was almost all SLR releases! -- let's get to it!
