The first taste of the new Jetstream Pony album is here. Indie-heads should love this one as much as I do. After all, anything Beth Arzy touches is usually worth a listen, or a look as the case may be here.
Beth Arzy (The Luxembourg Signal/Trembling Blue Stars/Aberdeen) is on vocals and percussion, Shaun Charman (The Wedding Present/The Popguns/The Fireworks) is on guitar and vocals, Kerry Boettcher is on bass, and Tom Levesley is on drums. Jetstream Pony crank it up atop a galloping hook. Beth's vocals are sweet and assured, even as the guitar riff churns forward. The hook twists and turns and the whole package is endearing and pretty darn catchy. Look for more from Jetstream Pony in the very near future.
Bowerbirds and Blue Things by Jetstream Pony will be out on March 28 on Shelflife Records here in the States.
