New music from Chris Stamey (Sneakers, The dB's) is always something to be happy about, but this new 2025 single is extra special as far as I'm concerned.
"I'd Be Lost Without You" is Brian Wilson-y in the best possible way. There's a hint of recent stuff from The Lemon Twigs here too, which makes sense since they are going to be on the new album from Chris. Called Anything is Possible, that one will be out in July. This lilting, lovely bit of work is elegantly constructed, heartfelt, and catchy. All hallmarks of a Chris Stamey composition!
