Ahead of a new EP, Busan-based stalwarts Say Sue Me are here with a new video. "Vacation", featuring guest vocals from Kim Hanjoo of Silica Gel, is a cut with the rolling forward momentum of something from the Charlatans. For a band that gets pegged dream pop or whatever, this one is kinda punchy.
Say Sue Me -- Sumi Choi (vocals and guitar), Byungkyu Kim (lead guitar), Jaeyoung Kim (bass), and Sungwan Lim (drums) -- are preparing for a new UK tour, and this EP is their first new release since their covers EP in late 2022. Time is Not Yours will be out later this month, but the playful, assured strut of "Vacation" makes for a charming lead single. This is a fun track, and one which deserves a few plays back to back for full effect.
